Deciding which is the best decade in history in terms of music is very difficult. It all depends on the genre you like, rock, pop, grunge, rap, country, R&B, rock & roll… There is too much to choose from.

But after a long time without a clear answer to the question, science has decided to put an end to the matter once and for all with a study carried out by the University of New York that proved that the undisputed winner was the 1960s since despite being the furthest in the timeline, it is one of the best remembered for its explosion in terms of genres, innovations, creativity and especially due to the names that topped the charts of the time such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, the Who or Marvin Gaye.
